Tiatto has not played for his country for two years and is joined by Portsmouth's Hayden Foxe in a recall to the squad which oveturned England at Upton Park last February.
Millwall's Tim Cahill travels as a non-playing member of the squad, due to the fact that the 23-year-old is not eligible yet to play for Australia having represented Samoa at junior level.
The squad also includes Marco Bresciano, who at £10million became the most expensive Australian footballer when he joined Parma from Empoli.
