Long Scores Again

Shane Long has chosen the crucial end of the season to hit his best form. The young Republic of Ireland striker bagged a goal at Pride Park against Derby County last week. The Tipperary native scored the game's only goals in the final part of the game against relegation threatened Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Long took his season tally to nine, and three goals in two games. Reading are still in fourth place behind Sheffield United and second placed Birmingham City. They face the Blues on Saturday at the Madjeski Stadium in the final game of the season but third-placed Sheffield United could overtake them both with victory over Crystal Palace, and a Reading win.
