Stephen Hunt is being pursued by Sunderland manager Steve Bruce. The Black Cats have been eyeing the Republic of Ireland midfielder for 2 years and may now have their man. Hunt is being linked with a host of Premiership clubs but Sunderland may have the edge.
Irish U-21 midfielder James McCarthy has been linked to a move to Burnley, but Hamiltonhave rejected any approach.
