Irish front pair find form

Irish fans will be happy to see both strikers plus reserve forward Shane Long find the net during the week.

Robbie Keane showed what he is about with a display that saw him involved in all four Tottenham goals against Middlesborough on Wednsday night. Keane scored the first when he was left unmarked in front of goal. He then turned provider and set up Aaron Lennon twice for the tricky winger to score 2 great goals. He was also involved in setting up a Paulichenko goal.

Kevin Doyle lifted Readings spirits with a goal to equalise in the second half away to Sheffield Wednsday. Reading hadn't scored in February and Doyle was 2 months on his barren run. Shane Long netted the winner for Reading to send them into the automatic promotion places.
