Hunt and Doyle Set For Goodison

Last updated : 18 June 2009 By Paul Jennings
Reading pair Stephen Hunt and Kevin Doyle are wanted by a host of Premier League clubs. The favourites for their signature are thought to be Everton F.C., who are said to have offered £10 million for the pair. New Reading manager Brendan Rogers has given the deal his blessing as long as the clubs valuation is met. Aston Villa and Spurs are also interested in the players as the July 1st transfer window opens.

Meanwhile the Sun claimed Doyle said he would not move to Wolves as he does not want another season struggling in a Premier League team at the bottom of the table. Whatever the truth in the claims it seems its a straight fight between Villa, Everton and Spurs.
