Eircom Premier League champions Cork City will begin the defence of their title at home to newly promoted Dublin City when the new season gets underway on March 10.

Last season’s runner-ups Derry City host UCD, while third place Shelbourne will be hoping to get off to a winning stat when they travel to meet Bray Wanderers.

In the First Division, Shamrock Rovers will hope to get their promotion push off to a winning start when they host Dundalk in Tolka Park.

The fixtures are subject to Longford Town’s appeal to FAI Licensing Appeals committee.
